In a recently released video by animal rescuers in Borneo, a malnourished baby orangutan is comforted by a group of vets. The baby orphan orangutan was stolen from its mother and almost died on malnutrition before being rescued by the group from Borneo. The orangutan was sold as a pet and was kept in a cage that was meant for chickens.
A Humane Effort
The orangutan seemed to be greatly depressed at the loss of its mother and the video depicts a group of vets sleeping next to the baby orangutan to comfort it and make it feel safe. The baby orangutan, Udin has a long journey ahead of him in terms of recovery and the video that was published in Sky News urges people for help in preserving the life of Udin.
The International Animal Rescue team’s Orangutan Care center simply refuse to give up on him and are quite confident about saving Udin’s life no matter how hard it gets. It’s been a great time for this orphan baby Orangutan and let’s just hope it gets better. Our wishes are with the baby Orangutan for a speedy recovery.
