Poetry: The We

Poetry: The We 4

If heart thought,

Love would be,

Enemosity would drought,

The colours we’d see!

If heart felt,

Pride would die,

Ego would melt,

Tears would cry.

If heart believed,

Everyone would soar,

Wonders we’d have achieved,

Hopeless no more.

With the mind ruling,

Heart concealed,

We all losing,

The ‘WE’ we yield.

With the mind ruling,

Heart forgotten,

Humanity fooling,

Making us rotten.

For one instant,

Let heart empower,

Make mind distant,

Watch how happiness’d shower!
